Charities we support

The WDCVT Ltd (Watford&District Classic Vehicle Trust Ltd) aims to raise funds and awareness of local and national charities and deserving causes by exhibiting the classic, veteran and vintage vehicles of WDCVC members.

Since the Trust was set up in 2002 it has donated over
£60,000 to charities (including over £6,000 in 2015)

The trust is regulated in accordance with UK Law and will, with Charitable Status, be instructed with the guidelines laid down by the Charity Commission for England and Wales.

Charity License No. 1087621

For 2015 our main charities are as follows
Along with local charities & other deserving causes

Mount Vernon Breast Cancer Research Diabetes UK Bloodwise Hearts Air Ambulance Michael Sobell Hospice

For over 10 years we have chosen to support many charities.

  • The British Heart Foundation
  • The Peace Hospice, Watford
  • The Scout Association
  • MacMillian Cancer Relief
  • Keech Cottage Children's Hospice
  • Bushey Round Table
  • The Voluntary St John Ambulance
  • Mencap (Hemel Branch)
  • The Hospice of St Francis (Berkhamsted)
  • A.S.B.A.H
  • Metropolitan Police (Bushey) Charity Fund
  • Royal British Legion (Bushey)
  • RNLI
  • PBC Foundation

Together we have raised many thousands of pounds for these very worthwhile charities and we hope to continue to do so for many years to come.

Some of these charities rely on donations only and have no government funding so remember, if you see us out and about at our shows with our donation buckets, please, give as much as you can.

Thank you
